Of course it was a foregone conclusion, but now it's official. I'm sure Manu himself doesn't care too much about the award, but it's cool regardless.

I'm guessing that if it wasn't a biased vote, it was due to the voter not considering Manu to be a legit 6th man candidate..

I think you are correct. If you look closely, the one vote that Manu missed for first place was also neither a 2nd or 3rd place vote. SO its basically someone that really doesn't like Manu or someone that really doesn't think he's a sub.
Honestly, I think it might be someone with the Spurs organization. Media or coach or whoever votes. I read some quotes from Ginobili about him saying that he really doesn't care about the 6th man award because he doesn't consider himself a sixth man. So I'm guessing maybe someone who like's him respected that and didn't vote for him for 6th man.

Congrats to Manu. Lakers fans will hate me for this, but Manu is Kobe level talent. He deserves more MVP consideration...That I said, I still hate him.....against the Suns.

Well deserved, and rightfully a blowout. Manu is the type of player who would be insanely valuable in any role for any team.
