Pop play Manu and Finley together more often? It seems like every time they are on the floor together the Spurs go on a huge run sparked by some amazing finishes by Manu/clutch shots by Finley. They complement each other very nicely.

Well Finley doesn't suck that badly in the playoffs... I don't get it. During the regular season it seemed like he couldn't buy a basket and now he is making timely baskets like today in the 2nd half.

Sounds like Fin is becoming what Robert Horry has been these last few yrs. Play like crap in the regular season, but crank it up come playoff time.

I think we all get fooled by the Spurs in the reg season, we think they're all done and has beens. However every player shows us they were just joking and show us the real spurs in the playoffs. I hate how they toy with my emotions like that.

Re: Finley...

Like I said during the season - increased focus

Thus, then, the track record and ability takes over. He was spotty in the regular season, but still showed he had game in the end.

And yeah, similar to what Horry has done.

Not me :).

Other than one brief stretch where I was starting to wonder some, I still believed this team would up it's level of play in the playoffs.

Too proven individually, and from a team stand-point, in recent years. It would just shock me if they played like they did several times in the regular season.

That is a great lineup. I am liking Barry more and more as I see him. He honestly makes a big difference in ball movement when he is in there. He has ball handling skills, can slash, and is deadly from outside. I don't know what it is, but Parker and Gino seem to pass the ball more when he is in. I'm going to count how many passes I see per possession when he is in the game vs. when he is out.
