Let's get greedy and not let off much in this game...

I just don't know how much support Shaq/Nash/Amare will get. Combined with our defensive capability against their team.

Spurs win

It'll be good to eclipse the Suns at their place.

Hopefully the Spurs keep steadily improving. I fear they'll come out flat again which could be fatal on the road. If they play good defense and passable offense, we should be able to nab this game on the road.
I expect a big game from Ginobili as he has the killer instinct and Phoenix don't have the perimeter stoppers to challenge him.

Some nuggets from yesterday...

D'Antoni: We're going to play (Game 3 at US Airways Center) Friday, and we're going to bust them. That's our mindset. We still don't have any doubt we can win this series."

Injured forward Grant Hill - scoreless in 20 minutes in Game 2 - had a magnetic resonance imaging exam on his midsection. Results were not available. D'Antoni told Hill not to play Game 3 unless he is 100 percent. In hindsight, Hill wondered if he should have sat out Game 2.

"You get to the arena, you get to the game and you always feel like, 'You know what? I think I can play,"' Hill said. "It's gotten me in trouble before. I just have to be smart about it.

D'Antoni said Hill will not play Game 3 if he is not at full speed.

"If he's healthy enough to really exert himself and run and really play the way he can, then he'll play," Suns General Manager Steve Kerr said. "If not, he won't play. He has to determine that. We have to determine that as a group. He wasn't right the first two games. Grant is such a competitor and a gamer that he really wanted to play."

If Hill does not start, Leandro Barbosa would. Phoenix was 10-2 this season with Barbosa starting and Barbosa, who needs a lift, has been a better player as a start with 53 percent shooting and 21 points per game.

So it looks like there'll be line-up changes there...

a lot riding tonight for both teams, Spurs win this and it's basically over, Suns win and they get some pressure off them, should be a tough game, lets get this one.

They are wounded and hungry, in Phoenix... 2-1

They're wounded and hungry, yes, but they still don't play defense. Spurs win.

I really want us to win this, however seeing how all the other 0-2 teams did last night has given me a little doubt. I won't be suprised if the Suns blow us out in this game. However i want the win badly.

I think that "dropping a game", "there'll be a blow-out/easy kind of win by the Suns" talk may be overrated.

Yeah i had that same feeling last year vs the Cavs in the finals too. We all know how that turned out.

How wild would a sweep be? I don't know if it's realistc yet, but the irony there would be incredible :).

I'd love to see all the ESPN reactions through out that week.

Well that was a good start... 18-8...

Parker is making his jumpshot... and that is always a good sign.
