A number of teams are hot on the trail of Ramunas Siskauskas reportedly, including the San Antonio Spurs and Houston Rockets. That

Sounds like a utility wing that would be quite nice to have, and we haven't really had before. Also sounds like a definite Spurs-type player, and would fit in well.

Like a role-player version of Manu (being less athletic)...

Siska is a great all-around player and his pure basketball skillset is probably amongst the 10-15 such skillsets in the world. But his only two weaknesses will be fully blown out if he plays in the NBA: He's slow footed (especially on defense) and he lacks body strength.

Being both slow and weak in the NBA doesn't get you far enough, no matter how well you possess the intricate secrets of the game. The pace and physical nature of the American way of playing will kill Siska, so if I were him I'd stay in Europe until retirement.

Well it is relative... Look at how old Mike Finley is.

Hell if he can have an Antony Parker type impact... I would be happy.

30 is right in the middle of a player's prime... so it doesn't matter

And for the Spurs, yes, 30 would be getting younger...

They'll get younger players and even younger players in the off-season through various acuqisition options.

Were not going to rebuild or something
