NBA NEEDS TO DO SOMETHING

Post#1 » by Show416 » Wed May 28, 2008 4:10 am

I am a Raptors fan watching the Western Conference FInals and was disgusted by the non call in the end of game 4. WTF was that? Barry is clearly fouled and they fail to call a foul. NBA needs to get new officials or they're gonna become the new NHL especially with the decline of ratings.

Come on, did you see the whole game? Lakers outplayed us the entire game. Every Spurs fan saw Crawford was the ref and only asked he not decide the game. How can we expect him to bail us out to get (to STEAL) a win we didn't earn?

Did Barry get fouled? Yeah, but you don't get a call that decides the game, a call that reverses the outcome of a game, unless it's a LOT more obvious than that.

It is what it is... We didn't do enough to win simple as that. If we would have rebounded more... we would have won.

I disagree. It's not like the Lakers played that great with a 7 point lead. If Barry gets a 3 shot foul and wins the game, the more modest Laker fans would be saying that the Lakers didn't deserve to win because of their poor play in the last minute. Bad no call by the refs. Spurs in 7.

I just want to point out that if you look at the reply fisher's shot hit the rim and the clock should have been reset and the lakers would have the ball and not have to take a fadeaway shot with 2 on the shot clock. They would have inbounded and gotten 2 free throws. I respect the fans that can truly say that this game wasn't decided on that last call. I think if he goes straight up he forces them to call it but he tried to go around and at that point its just a bump no call. anyways its not over yet. IM out.

fisher take a high arching shot and then all of a sudden the ball changes paths and hits straight down...it came down fast that it hit right off robert horry's foot the ball doesnt change path unless it grazed the rim. see the reply please.

Like said, it is what it is...

Needed to rebound better, that was the key to other negatives we had.

Laker fans need to watch the above the basket replay of Fisher's airball a few times. Don't just go off of what Phil's reaction was, and other not as good replays.

We played like the Suns when it comes to the boards and we all know they aren't championship material when they let teams own the boards.

lol, I'm not surprised to hear this.

We nearly blew this game, but thankfully dodged a bullet there at the end. That was a weird finish.

Watch the above the basket replay

It definitely hit the rim. Otherwise, Horry would have caught it.

And how about that ridiculous non-call on Duncan's obvious traveling? How about the ticky tack fouls called in the first quarter that got them back into the game? Even Phil Jackson couldn't stand it and went off on air.

It all evens out. It was a good game.

Phil always bitches about the refs when his team plays bad....

I can name just as many bad calls on the Lakers so don't play the blame game... It is pathetic.

That was a crazy finish....

Ok, I'll be a humble Laker fan, that was a foul BUT I think it was on the dribble not the shot, so it would have been 2 FT shots and who knows what happens in overtime.

But that would be hard to get a foul called from any ref on a last second desperation shot no matter what team you are.

Props to Barry keeping the spurs in the game. I was yelling @ the screen for phil to pull walton and put ariza on him Too bad for you guys Ginobli reverted back to a poor shooting night. I was gripping everytime Horry chucked a jumper in the last few mins. I'm surpised he's not hitting his shots, maybe playing defense on Odom has him winded or something.
