Don't know much about this guy, anyone seen this guy play before?

I like his game, but I don't quite think he'll be our pick at #26

Big combo-guard, 6'5", athletic slasher, versatile defender, good length, needs to improve jumper

May be like a bit bigger, less athletic, better offensive version of Tony Allen.

We need an offensive player as our first round pick. I like Weaver and I think he'll be a great defensive role player but he'd duplicate too much of what SA already has.
At 45, he or Sonny Weems would be excellent pickups.

I am not too crazy about him honestly. I think it is more important to get a small forward, not a combo guard.

Insane defender, but somewhat offensively limited. If he's still there at 45, this is a no-brainer.
But he's definitely not going 26th.

icic, i wonder why realgm has us taking him so early, a few other mock drafts including DX has him going in the 2nd round.

Weaver looks like someone the Lakers need at the SF due to their lack of defensive presence at the position. And Bottomtooth is right about Weaver's game. The Spurs need a SG who can play on both ends of the floor rather than a one dimensional player right now.
