Darryl Watkins, Desmond Farmer and Devin Green have been added to the training camp roster.

It seems to me that the Spurs are looking at wing scorers to make up for Manu's absense in the early parts of the season. These guys are a whole lot stronger than our usual training camp invites, so maybe one or two of them actually have a shot at the roster.

I'm gonna go on a limb and say Watkins ends up on our roster..I've heard good things about his talent and body, and I think Pop can get something out of him..

All three of those guys are good.

Desmon Farmer is a player.

let me give you a the scoop on Desmon Farmer in case you didn't know. I live in the RGV home of the Vipers where Farmer played last year. This guy can ball every night and go for 30+ as he wishes. Excellent scorer who creates his own shots. Very strong as well, seemed stronger than any guard he went against in the D-league. Sometimes his shot selection is questionable but that's about it. I don't really follow the Spurs and I don't know what type of role players you guys are looking for but Farmer is someone Pop and company might really consider.

I've heard good things about Farmer's scoring ability..we'll see if he can impress coaching..everybody knows we need all the scorers we can get..

I'm still upset that we couldn't get Gist on the team..I hear the guy is looking good in Italy..I think he would have been perfect here, but maybe that's just me..

Well I heard that Ian got hurt so I am guessing that Walkins makes the roster for the 1st 3rd of the season.

How long is he out?

I think Kirk Snyder could fit here with the Spurs.

I've wanted Kirk Snyder for a while, but I haven't heard anything about him and the Spurs..
