For some reason I cant pull up old threads on here anymore but you guys may remember me coming on here when you guys got Mason and said that you were underestimating him. He plays good D, is easy to coach, can penetrate, and the #1 thing I said was that I felt he was probably the best pure shooter in the league right now. You never feel like he's going to miss. It was just a bad situation for us for 2 reasons. 1 is that our Owner wasnt going to go over the luxury tax to keep him and 2 is that we had Nick Young and you really cant have both guys. Only 1 should get those minutes because there both that good. Young is averaging 15ppg for us off the bench in only like 25mpg. Trust me when I tell you that if we knew that Gil would be hurt again then we wouldve kept him. With Gil coming back we were too loaded back there but we wouldve definatly kept him if we knew Gil would be out again.

I also wrote in the thread to you that I wanted him starting all last year like you guys want him now. AD killed us in the starting lineup because he has no J at all and its easy for the D to just cave on AJ & Caron. Whenver Mason started we would score like 30-40pts every 1st quarter because he could spread the D so well. I knew he would be perect for you guys with Duncan, TP, and Manu. I told you that those who think that he is just a spot up shooter like Finley & Barry are dead wrong. This kid shoots better off the dribble then he does spotting up. Im glad to see he's doing well and I wish him to be the best. He's a hometown kid and one of the best people in the league. Good luck

mason should be getting finleys+bowens minutes and touches

dude needs to pull the trigger and not be afraid of missing a shot....once pop works out his roster rotations expect more from mason...would prefer to see him starting over ginoboli + finley...

Mason was fantastic tonight and i can almost guarentee that he'll be starting when Manu comes back.
