Spurs interested in Eddy Curry?

Why curry? He cant pass out of a double team.

what about

Kurt Thomas
Oberto
Roger Mason
Matt Bonner

for

Zach Randolph
Nate Robinson

works under the trade checker

then we re-sign Oberto when the Knicks waive him. Nate is averaging 16ppg and Zach is always good for 20/10. Both guys would bring excitement and energy and we would have a solid 8-man rotation ready to go to war in the playoffs.

its east coast media bs. and the article doesnt even say the spurs are interested in curry. it says that a 3rd team might be needed in a harrington-to-ny trade, and maybe it could be sa, because we have had previous dealings with ny. then it goes on to say the spurs might want curry.

ie, totally made up without any hint of truth. just a columnists ramblings.

nooooooo!!!!

I dont want either curry nor zach to be a spur!

may sound crazy, but I'm fine with what we have...we have lost games before and especially in the early stages of a season...then manu is coming back somewhen...nobody would call for the team to have a complete makeover if say T-Mac is out in Houston or Pierce in Boston...so dont panic even if it may be close to get a top8 spot, if we dont get our thing together somewhen...if we reach the PO's and have a healthy squad by then, everything can happen

mason is looking great, giving us a nice backcourt rotation when he starts and manu is back...and I'm also fine with kurt, fab, tolliver and ian next to tim and as much as I'd like to have an upgrade over bonner or fab, I dont see an interesting possibility

if its true and we take curry, this is the end of any championship dreams (I wouldn't see us as favourites this year, but we should have a chance to steal one more)...not to think of, who we would have to give them(mason?)...cant see RC and Pop doing bs like that

Smells like BS to me.

No way do we give up Mason now, he's gonna be an important cog in our team for years to come. However for Bonner, Vaughn and Finley i'd consider it.

Spurs can turn his career around. If there is a team can do it, it is the Spurs.

If you guys remember what Jackie Butler was like, Eddie's got that too. The whole, sit on the bench as if it's detention kind of energy. Eddie's perfeced the "look bored during game" thing, but he does want to play and he's not happy with Coach Dantoni, so he's not a complete waste, but he's also not the brigest guy in the room.

But with the right offense, as a guy who can score some ally oops and draw some double teams, or catch a pass when Tim is double teamed, I've heard worse ideas.

I'm not saying that Eddy would work as a spur, but he might. I think he was misued in NY, even that year he got us 19/7 he wasn't really used optimally. Eddy's not a go to guy, but he's a very good 2nd option.

Don't think it'll happen, but I think it might work out for your team if it did happen.

Hahaha, an east coast writer would say that SA's going after Curry. The last time I checked, RC Bufford doesn't make stupid trades and any deal that would work salary-wise involving Curry would probably make the Spurs worse.

so what do the spurs stand for?

- defense
- good work ethic
- teamplay

and what does Curry stand for?...

...what was the question again?

...uhm,...if noone called LeBron or Dwight is included in that trade, I think the Spurs say thanks, but no thanks!

but then again: Taco Cabana sais: "Hell Yeah!!!!"...that would stop the economic crisis in the whole SA area alone

I don't think there is any source to these rumours.
Pop goes insane when a guard misses defensive rotations. Remember Beno, that PG for Sac-Town that actually isn't playing that bad... we chased him out of town.
Can you imagine what Pop would do if he had a big man that was overpaid and can't play D?
At least with Bonner he can stuff him on the bench and we have a 3mil seat filler, whats Curry on 10+mil?
Pop would have a stroke.

Does anyone think Zach and nate would help us? especially now that Parker is out. Zach has bought into Dantoni's system and he's starting to ditch the loser label like Antawn jamison had before he went to Washington. and Nate is just a fireball of emotion. These guys will cost us close to nothing.

I think we need a defender more than another low post player. I mean PArker and Duncan score more than Curry in the paint.

He is a cancer... No team wants a part of him.

It not so much that I think there worth Parker its just they are better then anything you can offer besides Parker.
So thats why I said UNLESS you plan on giving us Parker you wont be seeing Zach AND Nate.

Please, while Zach's starting off well, even after his good season in Portland, he hardly netted us a ton of value (minus what the trade exception netted us). I'm pretty sure that from the sounds of it, Walsh was very intent on dealing Zach this summer and I'd say after he has much time to gauge Randolph's value around the league, he'll realize that even when playing well, Randolph can't net the Knicks any huge return, in which case he'll deal him cheap or keep him on the Knicks until his contract has value as an expiring.

EDIT: Welcome to my sig.

Please,Zach contract at the end of the year will be 2yrs shorter then it was when you traded him to us and most likely (I hope)we will have a winning season and a big reason why will be Zach buying into the system and beasting.

Nate Robinson is averaging 15ppg, 4 rbs, 4 ast and 3 steals per game in only 28 mpg.

what the hell is everyone talking about Jordan Hill and Roger Mason for? lets get this guy and Zach Randolph now!

knicks want the capspace and we want the offensive help so lets do this.
