Spurs V Clips

Post#1 » by the southern dandy » Tue Nov 18, 2008 12:33 am

I'm looking foward to this, Baron will be a real challenge for our brigade of point guards. I especially want to see how foward goes defensively against Baron.

The Clippers have started terribly but so have the Spurs. Make no mistakes, the Clips have a solid group of players and are likely to put it all together at any point. I'm confident that if the Spurs manage to hang around with their sensational defense, then they may be able to eke out another win.

The Spurs will have to step up on the boards if they are to have any hope. Camby and Kaman make for a strong rebounding frontcourt. I also feel like Baron and Thornton may pick up more then their share.

tough game..Clippers suck, but it's a back-to-back on the West Coast..last time we had a b2b, we melted down in the 4th vs. Milwaukee..

Roger Mason kicks ass

Finley's been playing great, his improved condition has definitely helped, aside from the increased role

Tim just continues to rule

I think Hill has to adjust to the road

I want to see Tolliver play some more again

Bonner wasn't bad tonight, but assuming there's showcasing, trade Bonner for Joe Smith :) (older, but not bad older, considering Joe's game on both sides of the floor)

Mason is just nails. Love that guy.

I thought Hill let Baron Davis get under his skin last night. Of course Baron did shoot 5-17, so perhaps Hill was getting under his as well.

I'll echo B7's props for Finley. He's really been playing well.

Ditto on the love for Mason, Tim and Fin tonight. That was a gutty win and I'll take them any way we can get them right now. Hold the fort...

I saw Blake Ahearn play in the preseason in Toronto when he was auditioning for the TWolves.

Nice pickup in place of Parker.

I like this guy and he may be able to stick as a bench player when TP returns.

I heart Mason.... I hated the signing but boy was I wrong about him.
