Tony Parker's Rehab

Post#1 » by Bringbackoakley » Fri Nov 21, 2008 7:14 am

Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone has any recent news on how well his rehab is progressing?

I have him on two fantasy teams and am having trouble finding good information on him.
Is it still estimated at four weeks?

Thanks for your help

It seems he's comming along quite nicely. But I doubt Pop will take any chances with him, especially seeing that the team isn't playing all that bad without him (i.e. George Hill development).

I think he will be back in the 2nd or 3rd week of december.

I was going to make a thread regarding that ..
Just read in french newspapers website that his rehab is doing pretty good ..
He says at best 1 week , at worst 2 ...

Here's the article

http://www.lequipe.fr/Basket/breves2008/20081121_114327_parker-recupere-vite.html

Tony Parker wrote:«Dans le meilleur des cas, je reprends dans une semaine, et dans le pire, c'est dans deux semaines»
and
Tony Parker wrote:«C'est moi qui décide. Et Pop me fait confiance, précise t-il. C'est ma septième entorse de la cheville gauche, je commence à bien me connaître.»

Also , Pop speaks about it (but I'm guessing that comes from an US newspapers or website , so you may already know .. )
Pop wrote:«Tony a bien utilisé ses béquilles et a bien fait attention à garder sa jambe pour aider à désenfler sa cheville. Tous deux sont en train de revenir plus vite que prévu»

2nd quote by Tony means that Pop trusts him , and that's his decision (about coming back in 1 or 2 weeks ) and that's his 7th sprained ankle , so he knows how to deal with it .
Pop says that Tony used well his crouches , and had done very well to help improving his ankle state . Both( he's talking about TP and Manu ) are likely to come back earlier than tought .

Obviously , a fast translation , but if you have any question , feel free to ask !
