Spurs vs. Bulls

Post#1 » by Gutter92 » Wed Nov 26, 2008 10:21 pm

I'm looking forward to Hill vs. Rose tonight, and another 15 minute stint by Manu.

Unfortunately the Philly v Orlando game is being shown instead here in Australia. Which is a shame because I was keen to see how Hill matched up defensively against Rose.
All I can say for the backcourt is general is, keep it up. Nothing else needs to be said right now.

The frontcourt is a totally different story. Kurt Thomas hasn't been making many waves at all this season and Oberto has regressed to the point of being a complete non factor on the boards and offensively in general. I'd like to see Pop give Tolliver a shot at some more minutes again. Admittedly Bonner has earned his spot back, but the other role playing bigs have barely shown a pulse.

I want to see Hill shut him down :P... yeah right...

I wouldn't mind a W. According the the Bulls posters their frontcourt has basically sucked... so lets hope that TD can do what he usually does.

Mason has done wonderful starting the point, and shooting ungodly from 3....

Kurt Thomas with 2 baskets and 6 boards, in 4 mins.
Maybe he's starting to find his groove

half time.
45 a piece.
Duncan on 18 points, 7/10 shooting.
Mason having a rough game 1/8 shooting.
Gordon leading the Bulls with 13.
We're looking ok so far.

Didn't see the 2nd half, but from the boxscore it looks like we pretty much had it in control well

Hill with another great game here, stepping up on the glass, and supposedly notably slowing down BG

Manu's coming back just fine :)

Mason with an off scoring game, but yeah... I like the 6 rebounds

Good win

What a great win....

Manu looks like he is in top form...

Hill my goodness has proven to be a starting level point guard. He outplayed Rose... and I don't think anyone expected that. He played some great D and can contribute in otherways than scoring...

Another great game all round. I consider Hill to now be one of the best backup point guards in the West, if not the best.

I'm really worried about Oberto, we won't be able to do any real damage with him acting as a ghost in the paint.

We won a championship with Oberto being a ghost in the paint.
