Miami v Spurs

Post#1 » by the southern dandy » Tue Jan 6, 2009 7:11 am

The standard is really dropping round these parts, now that I've started the past two game threads.

Another gritty/ hard fought win right here. Tony Parker had an off game but George Hill reasserted himself, and played some really quality minutes. I'm really pleased with our point guard position right now.
Tim Duncan was solid but I'd like to see him take his game up just one more notch. I guess I really can't complain as the Spurs have won 8 of their last 9.
Ime Udoka even showed some signs of life, but it's hard to envision him getting any real burn unless an injury occurs.
Matt Bonner is playing well again it seems, I'm starting to believe that his earlier stretch wasn't a complete fluke.

Also despite the so-so statline, it's becoming obvious that the old manu has returned to SA. I have proof right here http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=cCbcdPmc4Bg

enjoy!

Nice group win

That transition block by Ginobili was so special - I never saw it coming!

Mason's awesome :)

Manu is such an underappreciated defender.
