Lakers @ Spurs

Post#1 » by the southern dandy » Wed Jan 14, 2009 11:00 am

I'm looking foward to this contest. Two of the best teams in the business and it's being shown here in Australia.

I just hope the Spurs don't get blown out. I'm really not expecting a win here.

Parker is going to have to be dominant and Duncan is going to have to shift it up a gear.

I don't have high hopes for this one either. The thought of Matt Bonner trying to guard Gasol or Bynum makes me cringe.

We need a quality win...

Parker has to exploit the mismatch he has with FIsher.

Going to be interesting to see what Pop does tonight. The Spurs do like to play small a lot, but can Pop get away with doing that against a team that has as much height at the lakers do?

I give the Spurs a better than 50% chance at winning since the Lakers are coming off a back to back and the Lakers are short handed in the backcourt......
I'm so tired of the typical......

We are hanging in there with a 1 point lead...

We need a legit bigman besides TD. Thomas just isn't enough to be our post defender.

I think whoever misses more than 5 shots the next period will lose the game. It is crazy the percentages on both teams. If they were playing any other team, they would be blown out.

This is going to the wire. We have to make shots and stop turning the ball over.

Good God. How many game winners is that for Mason on the season so far? Like 4?

I'm thrilled that we got the win, but man we really need another big.

I personally think we're good enough as is.

As long as the Bucks don't make the Finals I think we can get banner #5.
