Chuck returns to TNT tonight.

And we Spurs fans return to a little place called "reality" after the trade deadline yields nothing for the good guys.

It might be worse, no Manu on this trip and Pop told reporters this morning at shootaround that we would know everything about the extent and plan for dealing with that injury by gametime.

Keep our fingers crossed...

Pretty lame day for Spurs fans. Hopefully the team can salvage what they can by beating the Pistons tonight.

Being a Pistons fan, I sure hope we take it to the Spurs. I think Sir Charles will be in prime form with his turribles after some time off :)

Would be a big win for us... I think we'll be some better than Detroit tonight, too

So we didn't get Sheed. Or VC. Or Miller/Salmons.

We're stuck with what we have, which with a healthy Manu is enough for me.

That said, we need this win. This hasn't been a good road swing for us.

Come on Turnover King, just say it like it is: This rodeo-road trip has sucked so far. Big time. A loss tonight would put a fork in this trip.

Nice D in the third quarter. GHill with a nice scoop at the end of the third. Great experience for him to go at AI. Espcially to test that vaunted on-ball D of his.

Ballgame.

We win.

Nice to get one in the win column.

Seems like forever.

It's been disappointing, but the win over the Celtics was big. That was the Spurs at full strength with Manu playing well.

Granted, we shouldn't have lost to the Raptors or Knicks, but you know as well as I do that we've sucked in the past against mediocre east teams on the road.

Barkley is not my hero. But the broadcast is really boring w/o him. Watching Jalen Rose talk like he's hooked on phonics kills me.

TNT needs to keep Barkley. Great shows can go down hill fast with the loss of one key component. Baseball Tonight went from a great show to a bunch of tools talking about baseball when Harold Reynolds was fired.
