Cavs @ Spurs

Post#1 » by StClairBandit » Sat Feb 28, 2009 3:07 am

Stoked to be able to watch this over in New Zealand. ESPN gave us the doubleheader for once !

Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili out. . .

LeBron is killin' it in the first quarter, far out. . .

Well, nobody else here or what????

Summary of first quarter: we sucked.

Summary of second quarter: we suck a lot less and making it a game.

At this rate, we might have a chance by the fourth. I'll take that!

Alright, halftime, we made a run and are hanging around but not getting over the hump yet.

Defense and rebounding looking much better versus 1s quarter.

Pops played the last 5 secs and almost scored on that alley-oop from TP! Hehehe!

Not bad, down 7 points after that start? It will have to do.

Good Game all, Pops looked like a monster tonight! I believe once the Spurs get back to full strength They are gonna be tough to beat in the playoffs and has a strong chance to come out of the west. No matter what they are still a championship contender and still a top four team in the league, might not show right now record wise but once the playoffs starts the spurs will be feared.

Why couldn't Bron lay an egg in this game like yesterday?

I wish TD and Manu were available for this game, would've been good to see both teams at full strength.

I'm glad this game was on in Australia, it had been a while since I'd watched the Spurs play.

I was really impressed with Finley throughout the game. He was active and even got to the rim a few times. His midrange jumpers were testing the defense. He was pretty solid all round out there, which really made me look foolish as I have been one of the biggest Finley bashers around.

Malik and Pops were both outstanding, plenty has already been said about their contributions. I think both bring new elements to the team and both have an outside shot at the rotation in a few weeks.

Ime Udoka is a bad basketball player at this point in time, there's really no other way to put it. He's awful in every possible way on offense and he has the lateral quickness of a shopping cart out on the perimeter. He should be IR fodder when the team is fully healthy again.
