TI: Bucks/Spurs/Kings

Post#1 » by WiscoKing13 » Wed Mar 11, 2009 12:05 am

Bucks Trade
Joe Alexander
Richard Jefferson

Bucks Receive
Nocioni
Roger Mason
Mason bought out and returned to spurs

Kings Trade
Nocioni
Ron Artest Trade Exception

Kings Receive
Alexander
Bruce Bowen
Kurt Thomas
Future Spurs first, Lottery Protected

All spurs players will be bought out and return to the spurs.

Spurs Trade
Bruce Bowen
Kurt Thomas
Roger Mason
Future 1st round pick, Lottery Protected

Spurs Receive
Richard Jefferson

Bucks-Simple enough save money to get CV, Session and maybe are first. then get nocioni who SS loves. Nocioni would be a great guy to split time with LRMAM
The bucks should be at 59 mil.

Kings-Future Cap! Yes your taking on 3 mil dollars, but most of that money is coming from getting alezander. You get a young prospect and then don't have to deal with nocioni long term deal.

Spurs-You get RJ for going about 2 or 3 mil over the salary cap(once the players get brought back for vet min they'll be somewhere around 72-73).

You guys didn't comment on the Trades and Transaction board, so I thought i'd bring it straight to you.

Throw in Kevin Martin and we'll call it a deal.

Not really we already have our Parker, Manu and Duncan to carry us offensively so we really don't need another scorer, we depth and good role players.

so you don't think RJ and Bowen at the 3 wouldn't be great on D. At the end of the game having RJ and bowen on the floor would be a pretty nice luxary

Its not like you guys are giving up anything beside a late first

lol spurs will be in the tax anyway without this trade, thats if they decide to invest into GOODEN.

but no i dont like this deal, I DONT think the spurs wanna waste watever cap they have in 2010 for RJ...he aint worth it.

Why do we need RJ on the floor late in games when we have Manu, who's better in every way.

Like I said before the Spurs have no use for another big scorer.

Then why were you rumored to be going after VC, If you don't need another scorer?

I just thought your 3 spot looks weak on paper, with bowen getting up their in age.

I just don't get how you guys can argue with getting a player like RJ for a first and a couple mil over the Luxary tax for one year. Then after that he's a large expiring who can either play his contract through or be a huge trading chip.

Our most pressing need is a rebounding big and better D. Jefferson provides neither of these.
