Tonight

Post#1 » by miggs » Thu Mar 12, 2009 10:25 pm

hey guys, fellow Laker fan here

just wanted to say good luck tonight. Im hoping we steal one after the last heartbreaker we had there. those mistakes at the end bit us bad. It would've been nice to have had Bynum and Ginobili play, it'd make a nice preview of the playoffs to come. Well take care guys, good luck and may be the best team win.

:starwars lol

Fun game so far, too bad about the first quarter; Spurs cut it to single digits on Parker's 3, but Fisher... Nasty. Duncan's got to get going a little more but he's getting there. I don't know why he seems so vulnerable tonight... When he's made moves, he's had success tonight.

Well, that was a great game after the first quarter, but for Mase looking weak and Hill making a few boneheaded plays at the end. An 18-point deficit to start the game is too much without Manu around, though. Great games from Parker and Finley, Duncan turned it on in the second half too.

Wish he had more juice in the first quarter, though; if they'd only lost the first quarter by 10, they'd have won the game.

God that was a bucket of suck...

You Kobe shot on Hill was the backbreaker... that is why I don't like all those bull shots on gamewinners. Basically that was the game winning shot.

I did like that we came back and made it a game. We could have folded and not shown our cards. Pop doesn't like to show his hand but I did notice that he gave some important mins to Hill and Thomas and hopefully that will pay out dividends later on.

Very classy... and people wonder why people rag on the lakers and their circle jerk fans...

We should just forfeit the game and submit to the awesomeness of the lakers...

We got cracked last night for sure but we are a better playoff team.

Have to agree that it looks like the title is the Lakers to lose

Disappointing loss, but can't take too much from it (no Bynum, no Manu, 2 minutes of Gooden).

2nd that motion Rasho, ignor that dude. You guys are a much better playoff than a strong regular season team. Usually the Spurs fly under the radar until the post season, that's how Popp rolls 8-)

I can't wait to see you guys in the postseason, hope we meet up in the conf. finals, it'll be a hell of a match!!! Great game considering how bad the first quarter was for you guys, it went down pretty close so props on that. Good luck on the rest of ur season. :D

Zero you say? Thanks for the update.

I wouldn't crow too much about being a lock for the title, unless you have a very short memory. The Lakers last two finals appearances have been an embarrassment.
