We just didnt get better as all the west tried to catch us. I dont suck we just stayed the same. We put on cruz control and let the rest of the nba pass us by. Atleast we didnt do the same things the suns, mavs, and GS did by making BIG moves and just plain suck. A decent draft and Ian healthy maybe a FA wing and we wont suck.

you guys just need a replacement for bruce bowen and rasho, i think that 05 team was the best you guys had.

I'd say the biggest holdback for the Spurs right now is injuries more than anything. For most of the season, either Tony Parker or Manu (or both...) have been out with injuries, leaving the other guys to pick up their roles. I must admit the role players have looked pretty good at times, but they certainly aren't going to produce more than the stars. Finally the big three are back together- with a slight issue, Manu's now coming off an injury and he's trying to adjust to playing again. Unfortunately, Ginobili's return comes a little late, but if he can get back into playing form in these next 6 games (or at least before the playoffs) there is some reason for hope.

My bad I dont think we suck. I just think we got lazy. The current spurs team is good just not great.
