Scola
Is anyone else here regretting letting Scola go for a PG we never used and a 2nd rounder? I am loving watching him take it to the Lakers, but I sure wish he was wearing silver and black. Just another reminder of the last few off seasons.

Re: Scola
Yeah it sucks. A healthy Big 3 + Scola would definitely equal a championship.

It's part of the business, you can't keep everybody.
We watched Okur walk after winning it all in 04 and that's been hard to swallow. He's awesome. But we couldn't afford him AND Sheed.
Scola would be awesome for you guys though, he's everything Oberto was with an offensive game and more hustle.

Re: Scola
It was all about money and looking back we should have sucked it up and payed the tax so that we could hold onto this guy. He's been great for the Rockets and would have been great for us.

We also had Hedo Turk. who is big in Orlando Live life with no regrets move on and try to get better. Scola might not have been a stud for the spurs (my guess is he would have been though).

Re: Scola
In the Spurs defence, Turk was sucked kinda hard in the playoffs for us and he played next to zero defence.
Scola would have indeed been a great pick up, but such is the life of a professional sports team. We also passed on John Salmons and Barbosa as well didn't we?

It sucks but you can't always get a base hit when you come to the plate. Sometimes you strike out.

Well he sucked here in the playoffs his one season here. Also we couldn't keep Manu, Bruce and Brent Barry if we matched his offer sheet in Orlando. He got better because he was given a bigger role. He wouldn't have that they of role here behind TD,PArker, and Manu.
