Ronny Turiaf for Matt Bonner and Tiago Splitter?
Why for Spurs, it seems the Lakers get bigger and bigger everyday. Their length and size in the frontcourt is just plain scary. Turiaf is a 6'9 banger, a pretty good rebounder, runs the floor well, and just hustles all over the court.
If you're thinking they have Blair, remember he has no ACL in BOTH needs. He's a rookie so when playoff times comes, how will he react and does he get any calls from the refs? McDyess is around but he is also 34 years old.
Duncan operates better when he has a big bruisher taking on the best post player to keep him out of foul trouble and keeping him fresher. Bonner does not have to pack his bags he will be let go and then returned.
Why for GSWs, without Andris Biedreins and Ronny Turiaf, they have not played that bad. THeir frontcourt is composed of Radmanovic, Randolph, Moore, Hunter, and hopefully the return of Biedrins. That is five in the frontline but Don Nelson plays small ball anyway so why the need for so many front court players.
The only success the GSWs seemed to have is the ability to get injured all the time. But with that they find gems in the D-league and free agency. Anthony Morrow and CJ Watson are good examples and now Chris Hunter this year.
