Trading Ginobili

What do you guys think about trading Ginobili for somebody more reliable, but who is also of some relevance for fit? The lingering injuries have hurt us significantly, and Pop has even supposedly shown annoyance to an extent.
Without Manu being in all-star form, at least come 2nd half season/playoffs, we are a 1/2 notch off from what we are looking to be, and generally viewed as.
Manu still has good value, especially in a situation where less is needed from him.
Now, I know he's coming back from injury very soon - but how ahout Rip Hamilton? It's not like he's just a shooter, either. I also think with the Pistons drop off the last couple years, it's more realistic of a deal than years before that. I think he'd fit in quite well for obvious reasons, assuming you've seen enough of his play, to know that he isn't just a shooter.
For Detroit, Manu won't command the ball as much as Rip, decreases the suttle conflict(s) with Stuckey's touches and continued development (Stuckey is definitely Joe D's boy, and rightfully so), and Manu is still an above-average player whether he's hurting some or not. He'd differ to Stuckey/Prince/Gordon/Villanueva, Manu still being an adequate defender helps also.
The main thing here being, Detroit has enough of a different direction and feel to them now, compared to the Rasheed/Billups/Brown-Flip seasons.
