I'm not really a spurs fan, but I watched the game.
I have a question..
Why did Pop play Hill for the last 3-4 minutes as opposed to Parker? Was it his injury or simply strategic? I thought it was just a coaching mistake that cost you guys the game.

Great point.
Pop has been doing stuff like that all year. Stuff that's not about winning - like bringing in Manu and taking out Jefferson instead of playing them together.starting the red rocket. playing Duncan short minutes etc.
To answer your question I dont know. Maybe he will trade Parker. Maybe he is tanking.

maybe he is trying different team dynamics in different scenarios.
maybe he has a lot of faith in Hill and wants to build his confidence for the post season.

Hill's been playing great lately and I think Pops has got a lot of faith/confindence in him. It was a bold move and Pops has been making a lot of them so far this season.

I assume it's because Parker's got a bad ankle as well as plantar. Pop's rotations have been confused all year. He went thru a stretch of playing Blair decent minutes but that's slowed down a bit lately. TD didn't seem to be out there much last night either.
