Bulls - Spurs Trade???

A trade that can help both teams.
Bulls trade Kirk Hinrich + Tyrus Thomas to Spurs for Ginobli + Matt Bonner.
Spurs get new blood and become younger.
I think both Hinrich and Tyrus would be great next to Duncan and Parker. Both Hinrich and Tyrus are really good defensively so they will fit in perfectly.

Umm no. We have no use for Hinrich or his contract.

We don't really need Hinrich though..Thomas may be useful as any defense is good defense for us at this point, but we already got a serviceable backup PG in Hill who is getting better and looking more promising..We really need a backup SF because as of right now we got no one who can play the position effectively outside of Jefferson...which is forcing us to play these small ball lineups that clearly put a dent to our defensive stability and identity.

You know what... I can't believe I am saying it.. but **** it. We need to make a trade for the sake of making a trade.

Definitely no, we don't need Tyrus Thomas, he's been hideous this season. Honestly, I don't think we can improve through a trade this season. Our only hope is Manu slowly finds his form (he's showing flashes), Tony plays like he did last season and not like the first half of this season and then we can hope to make it out of the first round. That's about it.

Trade Parker for Lamar Odom.
Hill takes Parker's spot. If Pop likes small ball, Odom is the perfect PF to do it. But this will surely make LA win the next 10 titles. Bynum, Gasol, Artest, Kobe, and Parker.. SICK.
I actually do feel that if we don't look at how freaky LA is with Parker, the Spurs can actually be a better team with Odom instead of Parker rite now.

Yeah, I agree. We can't just stand pat with this uninterested bunch. A move needs to be made.

Counter Proposal
Salmons + Tyrus Thomas
for
Bonner+Finley+Mahnimi+Mason + 2010 2nd round pick
Thomas and Salmons off your cap this summer for expirings. That's about as good as your going to get. Hinrich's contract has a strong negative value.

I really just don't like Tryus Thomas and I think he'd be a terrible fit here.

he'd be great with a coach like Pops
Reports in Chicago say that Spurs are trying to get Thomas. No specific offer
No report at all about Hinrich to Spurs
Lakers are the strongest pursuer of Hinrich & will probably get him unless Boston decides to trade Allen

Pops would tear him apart.

Would you be interested in a trade based around Battier for Manu?

No thanks, but we might be interested in a deal involving Manu's bald spot for Battier's porn 'tache.

Spurs fan talk abaut your team like a bunch of uninterested players, but you all the time put Manu yours most commited player and more explosive right now in every trade you want, and c-mon Manu >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Battier the only thing Battier is better than Manu is size.

mmmm..... I´m not sure about that.... He (Battier) is a little overrated in his defense, but I give you this... OK 2 things, and loose your spark off the bench, the best passer of the team, a glue guy and a winner in all the sense of the word, for size and a little of D... mmmm not a good trade for me

God, if the Lakers get Hinrich that's quite an upgrade for them, and is an incredibly ideal fit with Kobe, Phil, and the triangle offense.

I agree, I think Battier is overrated but still a decent player and a great "glue" guy. It's not a trade that would happen anyway. I think the Rockets are happy with Battier and trading Manu would be low on the Spurs list of tradeable assets.
