Has the possibility of bringing in the expansion teams in separate seasons been mentioned by Adam Silver?

I don't think the league will do that.
You would need two expansion drafts and you probably can't expect teams losing two players within a year or two.
I also doubt they'll grant one team "first dibs" and then give the "leftovers"(teams that didn't lose a player in the first expansion draft) for the other one.
I think they'll bring in two teams and hold an expansin draft were both teams can draft 15 guys which would mean 30 guys(one for each team) will be taken with the new teams alternating picks.
BTW: New franchise evaluation is out.
The everage value is $4.6 billion per franchise.
Fits very well with the speculated $4 - $5 billion expansinn fee.
NBA expansion expected to land in these two cities: "Foregone conclusion".
Seattle & Vegas will get expansion team before Mexico City
Billionaires and Ballplayers angle for New Crop of NBA teams.

Re: NBA Expansion- Discussion
I don’t want 32. Might as well stay at 31 and ditch the NBA Cup.
Wish the Pels would move to Seattle.

They're definitely going to add 2 teams to keep the conferences even, even if they have to realign some teams, I reckon, yessir.

The Luka backlash gave Silver the opportunity to duck the topic during AS weekend.

Notice that it's always a delay tactic when it comes to Seattle expansion.
"NBA Europe" seemingly has no such delays though.

Why does Las Vegas need a full time team? There is already the Vegas Golden Knights, Las Vegas Raiders, Las Vegas Athletics, NASCAR/NHRA, UFC, NBA Summer League, WNBA, AAA baseball, AAA hockey, AAA soccer there, essentially.
Has Mexico City, or Vancouver BC done anything to warrant a team?
That’s why I say, expand to 31 teams. Ditch the NBA Cup, and make all 31 teams have 40 home games, with the 41st home game being an NBA International Series, or NBA America Series (Las Vegas mainly, but teams like San Antonio in Austin, Memphis in St. Louis, etc).
I’m all for going to home games, but the NBA is missing the boat by not having some more international games like the NFL is trying to do. The league does the Paris Games, and that’s basically it.
