Questions:
Can we contain Yao and T-Mac?
Can our rookies shake off the rookie wall?
Will Wally be able to give us enough scoring off the bench?
Will Wiff be able to find a couple more of those great just for the looks pics? :D

Hey Det another great game thread.

I love the poll but my win percentage has been going through the roof with picking loss's. I was wondering if you could maybe add in

Sonics win
" lose by 1-5pts
" lose by 6-10pts
" lose by 11-15pts
" lose by 16-20pts
" lose by 21-25pts
" lose by 26-30pts
" lose by 31-35pts
" lose by 36-40pts
Lose by a margin only Robert Swift can calculate.

^^^^^^ This makes it a little more interesting for the fan with too much time on their hands like myself.

I like these Sonics too.

They were one of the original punk banks from Seattle and they came out during the 60's when the beach boys were popular.

But to the game at hand Sonics lose by twelve.

By the way don't be the last guy on your block to own one of these gems.

Image

Just so you know you can get one that is more of a pool table light that contains three bulbs.

Any guys know where I can pick up a shirt like this for my wife?

Image

This could do the trick too.

Image

Anyone remember the kids book the Weedle on the Needle? I use to own it as a young tike. The Weedle lived on top of the Space Needle. Good Stuff when you're a kid.
Image

Can you say foursome?

The one time you'd be asking them to keep the skirt on!

I'm not sure if you're allowed that many options in a poll on these boards.

But yeah, that could be something we could add.

I'll be at the game today cheering on my Sonics.

Hope the defensive intensity continues and Durant can shake off his rookie wall.

Sorry, I should have been more specific. I hope the defensive intensity that has been nonexistent for the past month and showed up for the first time in small stretches in the last game at Houston continues.

The article from the PI today suggests that P.J. is losing the team. I hope this isn't the case, because like it or not, PJ is here to stay at least through the end of this season. If the players have already mailed it in before we even hit the all-star break, it won't be a very good thing, especially for the rookies' development.

It will be a positive step though if the players can come together and play hard and smart on both ends today. I'm hoping for a good effort tonight even if they don't win. KD has also averaged 31 points in games I've attended at KeyArena this season. Let's hope the trend continues.

Sonics are playing really well tonight. I'm loving it. Durant is taking smart mid range J's instead of settling for the 3ball. Durant also had a really nice poised block on TMAC after TMAC threw him about 4 moves and Durant just waited until TMAC went up with it.

Wally and Watson are on fire. Actually everyone is playing well even Wilkins is hitting shots.

Keep it up.

Wow what a heart breaking loss.

I wasn't really expecting the Sonics to win but losing like this hurts.

There's a famous quote a GM once made to a star player on a losing team. He had demanded more money so the GM sent him packing. The player couldn't believe a someone of his stature could be treated that way. To which the GM replied, " We lost with you. We can lose without you."

I'm definately feeing that way about Kurt Thomas. J Petro looked good tonight. Why isn't he playing more and developing his game? It's because Kurt Thomas is better. But Kurt Thomas isn't so good that he can bring wins to the Sonics. I want J Petro, M Sene & R Swift (as soon as he's healthy) playing. There's no point in waiting until the trade deadline any longer.

PJ is screwing with the rotations way too much. Anyone notice how much production we got out of our PF's tonight. That'd be about nothing. It's clear the guys are feeling like they're being messed around. These players are human. No different than us. What if your boss gave your job to some other guy, then switched it around the next week and kept doing that? Yep. Moral problems. PJ, quit being such a dumb ass. C Wilcox is the starting PF and N Collison is the first big off the bench. Quit messing around. But if you're dead set on making a change, make it already yet. And stick to it. I don't even want to get started on how PJ's screwing around D West. "Evaluation period" has become another term for jerking players around.

I hope we've all come to realize trading W Szczerbiak this season would be a seriously dumb idea. He's a really good player. A solid veteran with an encouraging & competitive attitude. There's no unrestricted free agent for the Sonics to sign this summer. And his trade value will be really good, even better than Kurt Thomas' is now, this time next year. And that's too bad for D Wilkins because he's not going to get any real minutes. He deserves to be a consistent role player in some team's rotation.

I was all in favor of starting over. But it seems PJ & Presti are starting to flounder.

What a heartbreaking loss. I had a feeling with about six minutes to go we'd lose it. There was too much time left in the game for T-Mac to not make a comeback.

I feel bad for durant, he wanted that game bad. T-mac showed him why he's one of his idols. Anybody know why green only had 19 minutes?

Wally played very well and it really looks like Green has hit the rookie wall.

Wally has been playing well. He's the only player off the bench, that can score on a consistent basis. I know the season is lost but maybe wally should ride out his contract here or get something in equal value through trade.

I think Wally is to stay here for the rest of the season.
He'll show that he can still score in this league and that he's healthy enough to be relied on.
He's also a huge expiring starting this summer and will be very valuable around the league because of that.
