The problem with the majority of NBA refs is incompetence, not dishonesty. Too bad Delaney didn't address that.

Are you KIDDING me? This guy had real connections with the mob and he was hired as a ref?? I don't care what side of the law you're on, if you're close to the mob you're suspicious. How many of those guys that went undercover were really clean the whole time? I'm actually quite well versed in mafia doings and have read at least two books written by undercover agents (one police and the other FBI) and part of infiltrating the organization is committing crime. :nonono: This does not make me feel more comfortable with the ref situation at all.

I would tend to think someone who was placed in that situation, and still managed to do his job, would probably be fairly trustworthy. I don't think you can really attack Delaney's credibility...
