DEATH TO ALL TROLLS!!!

What is someone intending to do by making a joke about the team relocating? If someone's coming on this board with the intention of being an ass, and then end up getting called out on it...

I wasn't really talking about the types that intentionally try to disrupt in every thread. More the ones that might make an isolated off the cuff comment during a heated conversation. Getting called out on it is appropriate. Onward we go. If they later try to have a legit conversation and are told they are not welcome due to a simple off the cuff remark they made months ago, that's what I find a bit extreme.

I didn't really pay attention to whatever this Anjonez character said to piss everyone off as I don't really get all that worked up to the point where i'll read post after post of folks arguing with trolls. I'll just ignore it rather than being overly bothered by it.

He was a self-important racist with nothing of any real value to add, and he derived far too much enjoyment from pushing the envelope and irritating people.

But if it's a "heated conversation," I (and probably most others) have a hard time seeing it as an "isolated off the cuff comment." I usually see someone post a bad trade proposal, we say something unflattering about it, and then the reply is "good luck watching your team suck in Oklahoma City." Everybody here knows that the vast majority of posters here live in or around (or used to live in or around) Seattle and it's clearly intended to inflame.

No sympathy from myself either. I've exposed a couple racists on other boards as well. The types that Hippie & Sweezo mention are clearly out to provoke. The trade proposal threads bore the hell out of me, so i've missed alot of the fun & games that take place there.

To me, UZ has appeared harmless but i'll admit I haven't read all of his posts. If he is who he's been accused of being, is it possible he's reformed and/or matured and is trying to put his past in the past?

I doubt he is reformed or matured. That is fine though as long as he is not accusing the mods for being racist for liking Nick Collison then he can stick around.
