Nope.

I am all about JerryD, if we miss out on Rose/Beasley.

I wouldn't mind dropping down a few spots to get JerryD at like 6 or 7, and get additional picks/compensation.

JerryD is a better fit, than a Eric Gordon/Oj Mayo, as Bayless can play a little point and shooting guard, and would be a dynamic combo guard on this team.

I really like the way Bayless fits with Durant a lot better than Gordon. Gordon is a guy whose greatest strength is being the #1 scorer and his other attributes (ie defense, rebounding, distrubution) aren't as well developed. The Sonics already have their #1 scorer in Durant. I think Green will be best as a versatile #3 scorer. Bayless could fit in nicely as a #2 scorer who can drive and dish pretty well and play good defense. IMO Bayless' deficiencies as a pure PG could be compensated for by a Gelabale/Weaver type of SG who are above average passers/ballhandlers for the SG postion and Jeff Green who is a very good passer for a PF. However with Jeff Green logging a lot minutes at PF, the biggest problem in my eyes becomes rebounding and shot blocking. Jeff's 9reb per48 is way below average for a PF and would have to be improved and offset by a rebounding and shotblocking C (I'd like to see Swift, or Sene can fill that role and Petro can log major minutes off the bench at both PF and C) and Bayless, Weaver/Gelabale, and Durant all have the potential to be above average rebounders for their position.
On the other hand if you're penciling Gordon, Durant and Green in at the 2,3 & 4 then you'll have to find a stud defensive, distributor PG and a monster rebounder and shot blocker at C. In short the deficiencies of that core would be harder to compensate for.

Then Weaver is your man. Defense is the philosophy here with Presti so why not go with Rose and Weaver because you already have your scorer in Durant.

I think if the Sonics get Rose then they need to put a shooter (not necessarily a scorer) next to him. Rose doesn't have a great outside shot, Weaver's is worse and Green obviously has a ways to go in that regard. Playing those three with Durant would make it easy for opponents to sag off them and double/triple Durant. If the Sonics get Rose then I think Rush or Lee would be better options than Weaver. Both are good defenders (though not as good as Weaver) and have good outside shots that would have to be respected.
