I agree that Watson is playing better but the Sonics still need a starting point guard. I thought Luke pushed the floor pretty well last night, but his shot is horrible.
I noticed that Sene was in a suit also. The Idaho Stampede have a game on Sunday the 17th then their next game isn't until Friday the 22nd.
So they would only miss one game until the trade deadline.
Who knows maybe a deal is in the works to clear up some minutes? Maybe they are on their way out? But with the deadline so close I'm thinking it would be easier to have them in Seattle than Boise.
Here's a line up I'd like to see get some minutes and probably take their lumps.
PG Gelly
SG Durant
SF Green
PF Petro
C Swift
Durant being the first option with Petro being the second option then Green as the third.
Yeah I know they get crushed but I'd like a glimpse into the future.

Yes he's been playing awesome, but I think that's jumping the gun just a bit...we haven't seen if he can consistently play at the level he's currently playing at. But it does give us all the reason in the world to trade or sit down Kurt...
Why funny?
For my part, what I meant is that prior to recently, J Petro never really understood what he was doing out there. Now, to me, it seems very clear that the game has slowed down to J Petro. He knows what he can do inside what the team expects from him. It's not his good play that makes me say "he's arrived". It's his understanding of what's going on. His good play is a byproduct of that. Frankly, I think K Thomas has helped J Petro a lot.
Sure, J Petro is 22 years old. He'll have his ups and downs. Almost all young players do. But IMO he's an NBA player now ready for a regular spot in a nine player rotation.

+1
Though, i would point out that assistent coach Mark Bryant should get some praise here as well.
BTW: Of course Petro will have his ups and downs and his jumper might not fall every night, but there's a change to his game. He's now playing aggressive basketball, blocking shots and going real hard to the glass. That's something he hadn't shown before and what makes him so good during those last couple of weeks.

Does any one have any inside info that these 2 are really good friends. it would be cool if they developed a friendship and didn't wanna split (hopefully from seattle)
