and if they renounce swift they will have around 9 mil to spend in free agency this summer. that kind of cash will allow them to secure a pretty solid player. or, they could wait until the year after. and that is what the trade with the cav's did for seattle, it gives them flexibility. so you can say all day long that the supes should have got another first in the deal, but what they did get may turn out to be more valuble. a proven or up and coming player rather than a mid to late late first rounder. i think some people over estimate wally and west's value.

Pretty much depends on what city they play in next season.

A quality free agent being signed here next season? Ha!

D, Presti's done a great job so far, but the Cavs trade stunk so bad. It ain't just me...

i have to let it go? thats funny. i could link several articles that actually see the logic in the trade from the sonics stand point, but i think you would probably not agree with the authors. maybe we should all let it go.

Evaluate Presti's moves with his business statement.

"Prepare the Seattle SuperSonics for a complete rebuild."

In essence, his job as a gm is to do everything he can to prepare us for that. Has he not done his job? Not only has he prepared us for that, he hasnt brought in any expiring knuckleheads. Class citizens.

I dont see a single flaw this guy has done, so I'll give Presti an "A".

Have the older guys show the young ones how to do it early in the season, then, bring in the young guys when the season doesnt really matter anymore, and have them take a shot at winning games. Mentor and then give hands on experience.

New coach, new players, and figuring a new style. The draft and players avaliable will give him a better idea of what he is trying to accomplish.
