I haven't checked out the salary cap issues etc... but, here's my proposal.
We'll give you Steve Kerr (and our 2011 & 2012 draft picks) for Sam Presti.
I'm only throwing in the 2011, and 2012 draft picks because Sam is so brilliant that he'll find a way to steal them back once he's with our team.
What do you think?

Lot of D'Antoni haters around these days. I personally love him. Think he's one of the most innovative and smartest coaches in the last decade. PJ... not so much.
He also is a straightshooter and tells it like it is. I like that from a coach.
We can't part with D'Antoni... he might be the only coach in the world who can figure out this whole Shaquisition...
sorry, that trade is off the table. How bout we throw in another 1st rounder instead?

I don't know what he's supposed to do. Dude has a successful system in place and one of the major pieces of that system is swapped for a player who arguably couldn't be a worse fit. If he wears out his welcome in Phoenix and becomes available., I'd hope P.J. and his collection of 1980's turtlenecks is shown the door.
