Vintage Reggie Evans

Post#1 » by big L » Sat Apr 26, 2008 12:40 pm

Don't know if any of you saw the Sixers blow out the Pistons last night, but that was some vintage Reggie Evans. Made me remember better times.

He looks like some crazy homeless dude with that beard.
from ny, never been a fan of the knicks...

For someone who went undrafted, Reggie Evanns has carved out a nice career in the NBA. He's been ridiculed over the years by some as a player with no offense, but what he brings to a team with his unrelenting workethic is a quality teams need. Good for him.

That's also an ingredient Seattle could use a little more of. Edjuardo Najera is a free agent and has the same attitude. James Dorsey and Richard Hendrix may end up as the same type of players. Sam Presti should add some grit to the team.

I really miss the Bruise Brothers (Fortson/Evans)
They brought some serious attitude to our team and were one of the major reasons for our success in the 04-05 season. Seems like so long ago....*sigh* now I'm depressed.

I think that Reggie Evans played better in game one. Starting Thad Young seems to be working though.

I'm with you on Joey Dorsey & Richard Hendrix, Downtown. And in my opinion you can also add DJ White to that list as well. I think the Sonics should be able to get one of those guys at #32.

But seriously, while it's nice to remember how Reggie Evans rebounded the ball, that's not exactly what he's known for around the league now a days...

TBH, I didn't even know he was on the 76ers until about two weeks before the playoffs. Good for him though.

That Reggie Evans clip is PRICELESS. I haven't laughed so hard at a clip about basketball ever. The interview was hilarious and I loved when the players are trying to comment and they show the clip and everyone just starts laughing.
