That is a terrible offer. I highly doubt the magic are even trying to make a move to get into the top 5 of the draft.

Chris Wilcox by himself for Turkoglu and Redick wouldn't be that interesting to me. Wilcox is a young big who is just coming into his prime and is showing some really interesting post game. Turkoglu is a 29 year old career underachiever who just did for one season what he should have been doing for a while (and didn't do in the playoffs). It will take more than one season to convince me. Also, his age doesn't fit into our rebuild.

So the conclusion is Turkoglu is barely the best player in the deal and Redick is not an attractive commodity so I don't think we'd look to move down 18 spots for that package.

In my opinion the Magic don't have the pieces to get the number 4 in this draft (unless you want to part with your best player). And actually the Magic and the Sonics are very incompatible trading partners in general unless you want Donyell Marshal or Adrian Griffin.

joshman, you obviously didn't read my post. I said he was a career underachiever and yes I can say that about my weak durant who averaged 20, 4.4 and 2.6 in his ROOKIE year. In his first 7 seasons Hedo never averaged 15 points or more (3 times averaging less than 10 points). This is a "career underachiever" and just because he had one good season does not make his overall career much better.

I don't know why I'm trying to explain basics to an idiot who didn't even want to read my post which explained why his trade was ridiculous in simple terms.

well if u averaged more than 12 rebounds per game in college and 4 in the nba that is sad he will be at best a 8 rebound per game and yes he did get 20 ppg while shooting so poorly and while my sister can bench more than. look at his arms my finger is bigger. and u said he is a 29 year old UNDERachiever. so suck on that. and good luck in oklahoma cause nobody cares about seattle

I won't bother to respond to any of that. Can we get this locked?

I would have to agree with BBen on this one. The Sonics are going to build with youth around KD and Green. Turkoglu, while a good player, is the wrong age and plays the wrong position. We suffered for a year to get #4 so it isn't going to be given away easily. I hope Presti trades up to ensure we get a franchise guy that will be on the Sonics for 10 years. Even a #4 I think we will get one.

By the way, Joshman, your unfounded opinions and ridiculous accusations don't warrant response. I just want to say though that Turk's career FG% is exactly the same as Kevin Durant's.

The only thing that would make us trade that #4 pick to you guys would be Dwight Howard coming to Seattle.

As that won't happen, there's nothing that would make us trade that pick to you guys.

BTW: Quality >>> Quantity and as we've already got enough draft picks we won't trade a #4 pick for a guy that doesn't fits our rebuilding plans(he's 29 already) and plays a position we're already set with Durant and Green.

Also, that's the way i see it:
#4 pick >>>> Turkoglu
Wilcox > Redick, #22 pick

joshman, you came to this board as a guest, made a proposal that was rejected, didn't care for the reasoning behind the rejection, took offense, and then lashed out. then you took the low road and went with the old OKC jab. that don't play here dude. come back when you can stop acting like a child.
Don't act like you're not impressed.

Relax man, personal insults are not going to help you get your way any faster. We didn't like your trade, get over it. Obviously this thread is done, but in the future joshman, if you come here again please do not resort to the old "good luck in OKC" line. That is a pretty weak insult at this point.
