From all of us to you

Post#1 » by mffl_14 » Thu Jul 3, 2008 3:11 pm

I just want to first say that I'm really sorry. I feel so horrible for you guys for the sorry and classless way this was all handled. I realize that words from a Mavs fan is just going to be generic but I hope all you Seattle Sonic fans know that if you are a true fan of any team that this is a sad day. This is the day we all hope will never happen to us. I feel truly lucky that I was able to go to a game this year at Key Arena. Sure I dont have the same emotions as you Sonic fans but it was so cool getting to see the Western Conference banner the year you guys played the Bulls. I was 12 years old then and even as a Texas kid I was sporting my Kemp jersey. Anyways I know this probably means nothing but if there is any comfort in the fact that there's others out there not even from Seattle that feel your pain I hope you know we're all rooting for you guys. I know the Mavs played the last home game there and I think for once it my life it wasn't so bad to watch my team loose to get see the magic that was in Key Arena that night as through the broadcast you could hear the massive chanting of Save Our Sonics ! I know it will never be the same even when you guys get a new team but I hope it happens soon. And as everybody knows OKLAHOMA SUCKS !

It IS a damn shame. My sympathies. I don't care how much OKC loves its new stolen team. You do not move a team from Seattle to freakin Ohlahoma. Stern should announce his immediate retirement along with the move at his next press conference
