There are alot of kids in the draft that we can invest $3.5 million in. Most of them have two good knees and have played in college. Could it be that his body just was not ready for the stress of the NBA? It seems like all of these injuries have been non contact things. Maybe his knees would have strengthened had he gone to college. He needs to go to the D-league and prove he is healthy before anyone will give him another contract.

I remember when we drafted Swift; it was the day before the draft and there was a draft special on KJR and one of the guys was talking about our interest in either Jefferson or Swift. I remember thinking "please god, let them take Jefferson." Well, I'm glad we made the right choice.

Ah, but had the Sonics drafted Jefferson, they wouldn't have KD! Swift has made the ultimate sacrifice and all everyone does is complain that he's not Al Jefferson. Shame on you Sonic fans! Shame on you!

^haha! I guess you could put it that way...

[Enter Debbie Downer...]

You could also say that maybe there wouldn't be a threat of the team moving if they could have been a good team with Jefferson on the roster. Maybe Howard wouldn't have sold the team or sell it to an out of town group if we would have been able to get out of our 7 year mediocrity phase and had a little success.

Lewis, Allen, and Jefferson??? Sounds like a winning combo for the future here in Seattle.

[Cue the music....]

WAHHHHHHH WUHHHHHHH! :(

this is why looking in the rear view mirror can drive you a little nuts.
Don't act like you're not impressed.

I'm thinking R Swift stuff discounted to $5 is not a good sign...

That's because it just doesn't look right if it's not size XXXXXXXL.

Sorry, I can't help myself. I really have to break this habit.
