if you could select an All-Time Sonics starting 5, (don't focus only on numbers but on "team-chemistry" as well), how would it look like?

Kemp, Payton, Sikma.

The last one you guys got robbed of watching most of his career, but he did wear the uni and is probably the most talented player to ever wear your uni... KD.

Payton, Spencer Haywood, Lenny Wilkens, "Downtown" Freddy Brown

I think these four would be locks. You might substitute Freddy (albeit an iconic figure on that late 70's team).

But, Lenny/Gary/Spencer are guaranteed locks.

Spencer Haywood was the franchise's first superstar (helped put the Sonics on the map).

Lenny is a Seattle icon. Only player/coach to lead the franchise to a championship. All-time wins leader.

Gary, his career speaks for itself.

Interestingly, no one has mentioned DJ, Dennis Johnson. He had a rough 1978 Finals but he recovered afterwards.

Kemp and Payton do it for me. These guys made me a banwagoner  back in the 90s.
