After starting the year with a 4 game road trip and losing all 4 of those, the Sonics will try to regroup and upset the 2006 Western Conference Champions, the Dallas Mavericks, at the Key Arena.

The Sonics might get closer to full strength with news telling them that Chris Wilcox might be back today.

When and Where?

Friday, January 11th, 7:30 p. m. PT, Key Arena, Seattle, Washington

This game will be broadcasted by FSN NW

Can we keep Dampier and Howard off the offensive glass?
Can our bench keep up with theirs?
Will Green get back on track and break out of his slump?

my tip...sonics by 24...nah this could be a very bad game to watch but often we do have a habit of sticking it to good teams. Let's hope we can atleast do that

also more west and much more petro

i've often had doubt about if durant can be a real MVP candidate or just a all-star callibre player but a quarter like this is what convinces me that he'll be a huge star. He''s showing that he can dominate a game like LeBron can, drawing a crowd and dishing. 5 assists already for durant. Petro and collison look awesome too.

Man...it was tied up at 30ish, I get up for a minute and now the sonics are down 10? wtf. Learn how to close out quarters.

^^^^^
our offense consisted of west dribbling the ball 35 feet out until there was 6 on the clock.

it's funny that our offense was looking good in the first quarter when durant was used alot and was waiting for the double then giving it off...but then the rest of the game involves 1 on 1's with watson and west. Kills me

I'm not watching another game until wilcox comes back and Ridnour starts playing

Can't be a coincidence that no one's posting in game threads at a time when the team is basically unwatchable. This is a tough period to go through.

it is part of the process. the uncertainty over if the team stays or goes kind of clouds everthing though. there are going to be more downs than ups for a while.

When is Wilcox due back? Surely with a dislocated pinky you can't be out for that long?

^It was rumored that he was supposed to be back during the Mavs game. Not sure when he's going to be back now.
