After having difficulties scoring and looking helpless against most of their opponents in 2008, the Sonics will try to end their losing streak against Kobe Bryant and his Los Angeles Lakers.
The Sonics got good news, as

Even with Bynum out, Sonics lose this game.

Is Wilcox going to be back for this game?
If he's back and Bynum is out and we can hurt Kobe early, we might be able to win.

It's not on the defensive end that Kwame will cost us....
It's on the offensive end.

Losing Bynum helps (except for my fantasy team) open up the window of opportunity.
What if Swift becomes as good as Bynum when he returns? Or maybe I should say "IF" Swift returns.
Man all year the Sonics have been bitten by the injury bug.

Same here, just as I was starting to make some headway on Ben on points & rebounds. Fortunately I have a huge cushion in the blocks cat.

I know my signature would have you believe otherwise, but I truly despise the Lakers more than any team in sports. I really, really, really hope we win.

Even with Bynum out we can still go in there and get that win. Y'all must forgot that we have the best scorer in the league. Kobe ain't going to let these guys get sugar in they draws,we've come to far to punk out now.
Plus we have a different mind set.

Y'all must not have read the first post in the thread where the primary question was "can we contain Kobe," thereby allowing you to make whatever point it is you're trying to make.
There's no point in riling Sonics fans up. We realize what our team is right now...a loss to the Lakers doesn't impact our future either way.

LOL
I love these people that come in here and rubbish. Wow your saying your going to beat the Sonics, what a huge accomplishment.

If the Sonics lose I'm sure we won't lose any sleep over it we're all getting use to it or should be by now. If they do get a win you'll come out looking like a complete dill, more than you already have.

Wow, Ridnour is so much better than Watson for this team it's not even funny.
You see how fast he makes the game? 4 seconds down, and boom, he's setting up the offense.

the point guard is the key. this is very interesting. its time for ridour to stake his claim once and for all. and west just needs to be agressive and score the ball. wally is just an amazing scorer. i never liked the guy, but wow, he is something else.

Watson comes in and the Lakers break away again, my god Watson is the ******* worse, he dribbled until there was 14 seconds left, dribbles right and bricks a jump shot

We will be lucky to get a 2nd Round pick for Wilkins now, he hasn't even got off the pine yet which shows how far he has fallen. I'm not complaining about it though.

right now , because this team really has no low post scorer, (wilcox has the tools but.........) this team needs to run, run, run. run off of misses, run off of makes, just run. not only that, but they need to make quick passes and not pound the ball too much (watson!). this team needs to run and put it up quick.

L Ridnour brings out the excitment of his teammates. He fits the personality of this team so much better than E Watson. And I'm not an E Watson hater. I just think he'd do better in a controlled offense. Less running. Like Cleveland.

Wilcox is looking good out there!
