At least that's the impression i get from this part of the Seattle Times Bennett story. :D

Swift on the mend

Robert Swift, who hasn't played since Nov. 11, said he'll learn today if he's going to play Saturday against New York. The Sonics center, who underwent right knee surgery to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament on Oct. 25, 2006, suffered a setback in November and has missed the past 39 games due to knee tendinitis.

"I'm feeling way better than I did in November," said Swift, who has been practicing with the team the past few days. "There's no pain or swelling in the knee after I work out. I'm ready to go."

Swift reduced his body fat from 15 percent at the start of the season to 10 and has dropped his weight to 270 pounds. He'll be limited to 12 to 15 minutes in the first few games of his return.

So it looks like Rob will be available pretty soon. I really hope that he's alright and won't suffer any setbacks, cause he's had way to many of them already.

Swift looks cool sitting on the bench. Like an assasin. long hair decent suit...no expresion on his face.

But I can't wait to see him play again. I've never given up on him even though there has been some reason to.

It's time for the real Rob Swift to start beasting like Petro has now, I'll be watching him closely if he starts getting consistent playing time, i'd be ecstatic if he even just does what Petro's been doing

Just enough time for him to show enough glimpses so he can command an outrageous contract this summer.

good news for the Sonics, and for Swift, the kid has worked hard to get himself back.

That explains the dark clouds, thunderstorms and dangerous riptides we've been having around here.
