After beating the Lebron less Cleveland Cavaliers and winning against both NBA finalists from a year ago, the Sonics will try to add another win to their record and make it three in a row, when they host Jamal Crawford, Nate Robinson and the rest of the New York Knicks.

The Sonics have some injury problems, as Wally Szczerbiak is doubtful and Kurt Thomas a game time decision.

Questions:
Can we keep Randolph off the boards?
Can we make contain Crawford?
Will Durant keep his good allround play up?

I watched the Knicks yesterday against the Blazers and they really looked pretty tough out there. Lee and Balkman were outstanding and the reason they were in this game.

Crawford and Randolph still play like there is no one else on the court so they have to control them getting theirs as well as keep Lee and Balkman off the offensive glass which seemed to kill the Blazers, Zach and Jamal keep just hiking it up Lee and Balkman just kept putting it back in or giving them another shot. Hold Crawford at bay we win this one IMO if he gets hot there is a good chance we will go down.

Will Curry be out of this one? He missed yesterday with the flu I believe so is there a chance he could be right for this one?

The Knicks are playing better basketball. But so are the Sonics. Looking forward to a tough game.

I'd like to see K Durant continue his efficient style of game he showed against the Cavaliers.

And would like to see J Green continue to be more aggressive on the offensive end.

But most of all I'd like to see R Swift play!

and that must be the 4th time (this season) i've seen west running the break with a 3 on 1 and trying to take it all by himself, if he dropped that off to durant it was a certain dunk. important bucket missed

Missed all of the game save the last 20 or so seconds.

The stats make it look like Wilcox had a good game.

durant went 7-21 again..

Here in the NY area the weather has turned mild and calm. Then I saw the box score and figured out why:

Robert Swift, C DNP COACH'S DECISION

But I've been reading & hearing that R Swift's return will be soon... a week or two at most. The conspiracy theorist in me notes that timeline aligns with the trade deadline. Me thinks Kurt Thomas is not long for the Sonics.
