The Democratic caucuses let you register at the caucus and then vote that same day. Not sure if that would help in your specific case though.

I was going to, but reading his stances on free trade (something that affects my livelihood) are starting to piss me off.

Hillary's not much better though.

None of the candidates are perfect; never will be. In fact if I ever saw a candidate that was "perfect", I would run the other way because you know that they have to be hiding something big.

For me it just comes down to the fact that every time I read any kind of position statement from Hilly I am left with a bad taste of sewage in my mouth (and since I deal with sewage treatment plants in the state for DOE, I am a bit of an authority on sewage). All of her statements either read as a political sound bite designed to tell you what you want to hear about the buzz-word issue of the day, or they are so vague that you really have no idea what her position is. I may not agree with everything Obama says, but he at least articulates a message that addresses more than just the fashionable topics, are more than just sound bites and they demonstrate that he actually does have his own comprehensive opinions on the issues.

Brad Miller promised at the beginning of the year that he would take Spencer under his wing and purge him of the right-wing brainwashing that he has been through. We're still waiting for Miller to complete that task.

Took the words right out of my mouth (although I am a reformed republican that is on the more moderate side of liberal).

Edit: I just saw that Chris Gregoire was at Obama's rally today and has apparently endorsed him. I think that is a very good sign (hey, she's been very good to my agency).

I know every candidate has flaws. There are a lot of good things about both of them, some bad about each.

I'm an independent- definitely not a Republican but left-leaning. All I would say is that if you're really tired of the GOP agenda, think twice about saying you'd vote for McCain over Hillary. McCain has some admirable qualities but he's for a lot of things that you might find distasteful.

Yes we can.

The caucus here in Vancouver was pretty poorly planned. No parking and they had multiple precincts meeting in a school library. I would have thought that they could have opened up the cafeteria or basketball court. Heck, I would have settled for moving a few precincts outside.

Sad to see that the local Democratic party did not take advantage of the enthusiasm for this presidential race.

It wasn't just your caucus, the organization could have been better statewide. I think the caucus organizers were just completely overwhelmed with the turnout. At my caucus people had to park up to a mile away and they didn't think to have signs for the individual precincts large enough (or up high enough) for people to see them over the crowds. They we just caught off guard by the turnout.

Obama is still on a role! Think Texas is an uphill battle, but think a decent showing there with a sizable win in Ohio will go a long way. Florida should regroup, because states holding later elections are going to get alot of attention.
