Looks like the Rockets are picking him up, but I'd like to invite him to this season-long tryout. As a Washington guy, you all should know better than me.

And we have plenty of candidates for the waiver list.

I would like Fazekas. He is a very good rebounder and shooter. I think he was drafted much lower than he should have been. He probably should have been picked mid to late first round. Besides, he never got a chance in Dallas. There just wasn't room in the rotation, but they wouldn't have waived him if not for the Jason Kidd trade. He reminds me of Collison with a three point shot. Of course, I don't know how Fazekas would fit into our rotation either.

I would also like us to buy out some more guys(Elson and Newble come to mind) and sign some other players off waivers.

Though, i doubt that Bobby Jones(who i hoped to be around with our 2nd rounder in 2006) would make much sense, with Durant, Green, Gelabale and Wilkins being around.

The one guy, if he hasn't signed somewhere else, i'd really like to get is Justin Williams, who was released by the Kings, because of that Bibby trade.

Fazekas would be another option, but i don't really see it, as Marshall can play the 4 and hit some outside shots as well.

Yes, I know. I think that Fazekas is valuable and will be a nice pick up for some team, but I can't really see how he would fit into our rotation. Even if we didn't have Marshall, we are already developing plenty of young big men.

As for Elson, however, I think he is a little bit better than someone we should just waive. I remember him player pretty well for the Nuggets, and very well when he first went to San Antonio. (He shut down Dirk one game while putting up 1/2 decent numbers on offense.) He is an athletic center, decent on defense, and a has a few offensive moves. The San Antonio coaching staff sometimes gives up on a still valuable player, such as Udrih or Nazr, because the player isn't a good fit. Don't get me wrong, I am not very enthusiastic about him and I don't want him to dominate minutes. I'm just saying that he has enough value that he shouldn't be waived.
