Fazekas would be another option, but i don't really see it, as Marshall can play the 4 and hit some outside shots as well.
Yes, I know. I think that Fazekas is valuable and will be a nice pick up for some team, but I can't really see how he would fit into our rotation. Even if we didn't have Marshall, we are already developing plenty of young big men.
As for Elson, however, I think he is a little bit better than someone we should just waive. I remember him player pretty well for the Nuggets, and very well when he first went to San Antonio. (He shut down Dirk one game while putting up 1/2 decent numbers on offense.) He is an athletic center, decent on defense, and a has a few offensive moves. The San Antonio coaching staff sometimes gives up on a still valuable player, such as Udrih or Nazr, because the player isn't a good fit. Don't get me wrong, I am not very enthusiastic about him and I don't want him to dominate minutes. I'm just saying that he has enough value that he shouldn't be waived.
