Its a sonics day on KJR, lots of great clips, memories, and interviews with past favorite sonics.
I am enjoying.

I was just going to post a thread on this.
Gary's on right now with The Groz
Hat's off to KJR for putting together such a great day today...they haven't talked Sonics basketball all day like this for a very long time.
Did anyone hear the Slade Gorton interview? Did he have anything relevant worth mentioning?

I have been very disappointed wth KJR up to this point for their appaling lack of coverage on the Sonice front. Many times during my morning and afternoon commute I wouldn't even have guessed that Seattle even had a professional team. Listening today really pumped me up for the game tonight and that anonymous fan letter that they read damn near brought a tear to my eye. I just can't bring myself to believe that Clay can get away with coming in taking the team. They have done everything possible to alienate the average fan through trading away recognizable players and cost cutting manuevers. Not to say they weren't the right moves. If I can forget for a minute that the team is in jeopardy of moving I get really excited about the future of this team.
