But just to show that Yao has more range than sports check out this pic.

To bad for the Rockets I just hope they don't catch the Sonics in the loss colum.

I'm going on record now, never, ever, ever, will the Rockets even make it to the NBA finals much less win a Championship with Yao and TMAC on the team.

They are too injury proned. Which hurts them in the standings. So instead of coming in as a top 4 seed they come in the bottom four and they end up fighting up hill.

Both are great talents when healthy but when was the last time they were both healthy?

TMAC is making 21mil next year and 23mil the season after that. That contract is looking a bit like this.....

dude, isn't that rubbing it in a little bit? i mean we take offense every time someone comes on this board and even mentions okc. and to make light of this injury now? this is a huge blow to that franchise. i take no pleasure in seeing this happen. maybe you didn't mean it that way, but still. this could potentially change the direction of the franchise moving forward. i feel for those guys.

Give the guy a break. In basketball terms he's right. Also, he's not on the Rockets board. Chill out.

First off I'm not in the Rockets board.

Secondly both those guy are injury proned.

Third with Yao and TMAC being so injury proned they shoot themselves in the foot every season.

If they could stay healthy for an entire season they'd have a decent shot at a deeper playoff run especially with home court for the first two rounds. But they always get hurt and one of those guys can't carry the load while the other is out.

Fourth TMAC's contract is an Albatross. He is not even close to being worth that kind of money, especially when he's frequently hurt.

Lastly it wouldn't be authentic for me to come in here and saying anything else but the way I feel about the Rockets and their current situation.

I like Yao and I'm sure right about now TMAC is reeling.

Happens all the time. Now I could go complain but everyone is entitled to their opinion. I'm not here to be the thought police.

Me getting upset about it doesn't make it any less of a reality that the Sonics could possibly move.

Rocket fan could get upset with me (I guess) but what exactly did I say that wasn't true?

Sometimes the truth hurts, deal.

I concur. If it offends you think of why it offends you. Does it offend you because it's not nice? Get used to not-niceties, life is full of them.

Also I'm not offended by the mention of OKC, why should it offend me? Sure it may piss me off but to morally object to the idea of mentioning it seems ridiculous.

Edit: By the way, I'm of the opinion that the Rockets don't even make the playoffs in the west now with the way the west looks.

I have got to say I was wrong about the Rockets immediate future. They have kept winning and winning. I thought they were headed right to the toilet.

I'm still sticking by my prediction that they don't make it to the Western Conference Finals. I still feel this second half of the win streak has been a little "smoke and mirrors". But they have proved me wrong once lets see if they can go back to back with that.

I agree. I'm glad the Rockets proved him and others wrong.

I agree that this was in poor taste, Wiff. But, I wasn't offended because I am not a Rockets fan. Also, it was nice that you pointed out how well the Rockets are doing after Yao's injury. I agreed with you, that they would probably fail to make the playoffs. Now I agree with you again, they will make the playoffs, and possibly make it out of the first round, but it is unlikely that they will make it to the Western Conference Finals.

Well, we're not favorites to get out of the first round with our superstar out. At least we're making an effort and making history for good reasons. Making history for getting blown out or making the worst predictions ever really allows you to talk **** about better teams. ahaha. Welcome to OKC in a while you'll be in the West, and you can face us and talk about us even more.
