Questions:
Will Watson and Ridnour be able to limit Chauncey Billups?
Do we have a chance on the boards against Wallace, McDyess and Maxiell?
Will Durant be able to have a solid shooting night against Prince?

Early games are hard to watch. Oh well, I think I am too busy watching the vote going on OKC to watch the game anyways. This could be a big day in keeping the team here.

its not often you miss the first bit of the game and sit down to see kevin durant 5-5. It seems like something has clicked with him. He seems to be not taking the tougher shots he used to, and really trying to distribute the ball. Looks good, i can see him getting 5+ assists per game in a couple of season. One play that really showed his mindset change was that last play of the half. Had the tough 15 footer on the wing that he'd usually take (with two opponents on him) but found a wide open donyell for three. Much better decision (even though marshall missed)

Any thing happened to Collison?? Played less minutes than marshall, ridnour and wilkens??

Great first quarter. Then PJ decides to let Petro rot on the pine the entire second quarter after getting 6pts and 7rebs in the first 11minutes.

PJ You're an idiot!

And anyone who doesn't agree with that is just a jerk. Right, Wiffler?

I didn't call him a jerk because he didn't agree with me I called him a jerk because he was a bit smug and arrogant.

I think 5 dimes is obtainable. The best was that he recently went on a three page rant about how Durant takes way to many bad shots blah blah blah, he takes .6 more three's a game than LeBron or Melo their rookie year therefore he'll never be the kind of scorer they are.

By the way my wife has this way of cornering me when the Sonics are up and talks my ear off for about ten minutes and when I finally make it back to the game the Sonics are down.

Yep happened once again. Thanks honey.

sometimes lost in all of the rebuilding and relocation talk is kevin durant. we are watching the genesis of a truly special player. we are seeing him figure out the game a little more each night. the defense, the passing, shot selection, game flow, when to take over, etc. when he really figures it out and really gets it, watch out.

yeh i know what you mean. And also green is similar but on a even bigger curve, so his progress is even more evident from game to game.

Not a problem for me. My wife stays far away from the TV room when the Sonics are on, just occasionally passing by to say "I don't know why you waste your time watching them, they're s***ty." :)

Damnit, what a tough loss! I really like that Detroit team, it would've made my day to beat them.

that is a good team. a damn good team, and the supes gave them all they could handle. seattle is starting to show flashes. they still have a long way to go, but durant, green, and a few others are really starting to figure some things out.

Here, here... Petro and Wilcox showing up again! Can we say that Petro undoubtedly has a future on this team?

yeah, i think petro sticks for sure. maybe not a full time starter, but he has a place on this squad.

I tend to agree at this point. I hope Wilcox finishes the season strong and cashes in on some of that potential.

wheezy is so close. he could be a 20/10 guy. there are not too many of those type of players in the league.

Chris Wilcox could NOT be a 20/10 type guy. He could average something along the lines of 16 points and 9 rebounds per in his upcoming contract year though...

Let's not get crazy. They played well in spurts, but Detroit basically sent their second team out tonight. I don't think Rasheed Wallace or Antonio McDyess even played a single minute in the 4th quarter.

yes, chris wilcox has all of the tools to be a 20/10 guy. its all up to him.

and i am not "getting crazy" son. detroit is a damn good team with a very good bench. they go to their bench much more this year than they have in the past. they have a proven system and they are deep. and the sonics did play well in spurts, you know starting to show flashes of what they could be capable of if they keep working. that is the kind of thing you look for when a team is rebuilding. so tell me how that is crazy.
