Does anyone know? What happens if the Suns become a lotto team? What pick do we get?

I could be wrong, but I think they are both unprotected...

We'll get the Suns First Round Picks in 2008 and 2010.
And as far as i know, both of them are unprotected.

I've found the SeattlePi article on this one.

Neither of the first-round picks -- in 2008 and 2010 -- are protected, meaning the Sonics will have five unprotected first-round picks over the next three years, a key to the team's rebuilding plan. Regardless of how the Suns finish in the NBA standings, the Sonics will receive the Phoenix picks.

Sonics get Thomas, two first-round picks from Suns

two loses in a row for Phoenix ... Denver and Utah

Denver two wins .... Phoenix, San Antonio

smells like two lottery picks if this keeps up

If the '08 pick turns out to be a lotto selection, that's the death-knell to Steve Kerr's GM career.

Nbadraft.net says its protected for the '08 but not for '10. Then again who knows if they are correct.

That, added to the Snaq blunder, would add him to the anals of sporting history as an " did he really do that?".

And if the picks are any good, then it'll be even worse.

Come on suns, stubble some more. I want to see history.

knicks fan here..

Are any of you guys contemplating a realistic(ok it has a .001% chance of happening) lineup next season of Kevin Durant, Michael Beasley, and Derrick Rose in the future.

Nope.

I would say that has a less than .001% chance of happening

I spun chad forde's mock draft 200 times, and twice I got the #14 pick and the sonics pick both in the top 3.

Once it was 2 and 3...and the other 1 and 3.

1 and 3 would be extra amazing if Memphis were 2. ;)
