Today is the day the Sonics finally end that horrible seven game road trip to start the month of March, when they head to Boston to play Kevin Garnett and his league leading Boston Celtics.

The Celtics had been one of the worst teams last year, but managed to trade their young talent for all-stars Kevin Garnett and former Sonic Ray Allen, to pair the both of them with fellow all-star Paul Pierce and try to bring another championship to Boston.

When and Where?

Wednesday, March 12th, 4:30 p.m. PT, TD BankNorth Garden, Boston, Massachusetts

This game will be broadcasted by FSN NW

Questions:
Can we keep up with them?
Do we have an answer for those 3 All-Stars?
What will Green give us?
Can Watson keep speedster Rondo in front of him?

You shouldn't have added a poll to this one.

We're about to win 10 in a row and you have lost 5 straight, and the game is in Boston. It's going to be hard for you guys.

You could be on a 49 game losing streak, suit up Doc Rivers and be playing at Shawn Kemp's House and it would still be hard for us.

That said, Sonics by 15.

I see the Sonics winning this game. Boston is going to rest their starters players and play their back ups most of the game.

Durant goes for 50.

I'm making a prediction. A team wearing green will win tonight.

Best of luck guys. Hopefully the Sonics stay in beautiful Seattle.

 Sorry the C's will be getting their 51st win tonight. The C's are just too deep with veterans now for such a young team to catch off guard.

Pfff......your guys are nothing against the veteran power of Adrian Griffin and Donyell Marshall....

 I was going to say I feel bad for you guys because you have to look at Donyell, but we've got Sam Cassell now.

It's a given the Sonics will lose by alot this game, so I'm going to be focussing on individual matchups to see how certain players respond to a challenge.

Jeff Green against Paul Pierce will be a good test for Green and how he's coming along defensively. I don't expect him to stop Pierce but if he holds him to just under 20 points I'll consider it a good job. I'm assuming Green will get the nod and log 30+ minutes mind you.

Durant has been noticeably taking fewer, and better shots lately. Will a matchup with Ray Allen get him into wanting to prove he's a shooter and a solid replacement for Allen, and therefore turn back into a volume shooter, or will he keep his discipline and choose good shot selections?

Will Carlisimo put the offensive minded Wilcox on Garnett and hope he can match the scoring, or does he give the better defensive player Nick Collison the assignment? My prediction is that Kendrick Perkins abuses Petro so bad that PJ will be forced to stick Collison on Perkins. And we know Nick doesn't fare well against the taller, rugged type of centers. Then Garnett has his way with Wilcox playing his usual matador defense.

Will Ridnour and Watson make Rondo look like an allstar? How much time will Gelabale and Wilkens get in the first half? Foul trouble from Green will dictate that.

My favorite Celtics player is Tony Allen. Before his last knee injury he looked really strong, had found his role, and played with confidence. I hope to see that he's fully recovered and gets good playing time.

It think Ray Allen might want to play a little tonight.

Eh.

I have not seen much of the team since the trade deadline and all the waiving but the second unit they put on the floor in this game has got to be one of the worst in the league.

We are such a soft team, Marshall looks scared to go up for a defensive rebound. It shows just how important Nick Collison is to this team.

Well, one game closer to Derrick Rose.

I tried to actually watch the entire game and I couldn't. Earl Watson makes me want to throw up. I really enjoy watching KD and Green, but the rest of this team with PJ is just sickening.
