I think this game is very winnable, but we will probably lose anyway.

Not really, we've had their number all season long.

I predict a close loss, possibly due to a yet to be determined illness or injury to a key player, and maybe even Sene getting the start.

Sene is back!

PJ better bloody play him today!
On paper Minnesota's side looks a hell of a lot better than ours. I think Smith will be huge against us especially if Collison misses. Jefferson won't be stopped that's a no brainer and McCants will come off the bench and light us up.
We'll lose by 8 points.
111 - 103.
Lets see how far I'm off. I don't think I have made a score prediction all season.

Isn't that in poor taste? I mean you are a Sonic fan right? Your name spells it out. Yet you want the Sonics to lose? How is that not in poor taste?
Sonics need to win every game they can this season. One victory isn't going to be the difference maker. All the weight at this point rest on the shoulders of the ping pong balls. Sonics won 35 games last year and they landed the #2 pick. Blazer won 36 games last year and they won the #1 pick.
Losing guarantees nothing in the lottery. Sonics need every bit of confidence they can scrape up this season.

I didn't mean to sound pessimistic. I mean, I estimate a close loss.

There's absolutely no need to respond to something (one damn sentence) I said about an other topic and mention it in a Sonics gamethread.
BTW, We won 31 games last year, not 35. I want the Sonics to win but 75% of the time I cheer for them to win they get blown out. The best thing for the Sonics is to lose as much as possible to have a greater chance at a top two pick. Confidence doesn't get you anywhere this season, adding a top two pick to the mix will get their confidence up next season.

Oh I get it you can call me out for saying something you don't agree with, but I can't call you out for saying something I disagree with. That seems reasonable.
