After losing seven games in a row, the Sonics will head into the Rockie Mountains to play Carmelo Anthony, Allen Iverson and their fellow Denver Nuggets.

The Nuggets have a solid 39-26 record right now, but are still just 9th place in the strong western conference and therefore wouldn't make the playoffs, if the season ended today.

When and Where?

Sunday, March 16th, 3:00 p.m. PT, Pepsi Center, Denver, Colorado

This game will be broadcasted by FSN NW

Questions:
Will we be able to run in the Mile High city?
Can Durant & Green keep up with Anthony & Iverson?
What will Wilcox give us against Martin?
Do we have a chance to keep Camby off the boards?

I need Durant to put up BIG scoring numbers so I can lose my H2H keepers matchup against a tanking rival.

And I need Kleiza to struggle like he has been the past few weeks.

as a Denver fan I sincerely hope we're playing the "Seattle Sonics" in 2011.

PJ you fool, put Sene in. There is actually NO REASON why Sene shouldnt be playing, and it pisses me off seeing Marshall getting minutes. God i hate you PJ.

I wouldnt call it throwing in the towel. I dont know about you but i think at this stage of the game, Sene would be doing a better job for the team than Damien Wilkins jacking up shots.

Even if Sene doesn get minutes tonight, whats the point? I would rather him be playing full games in the D-League than a few garbage minutes.
He should either be playing 15-20mins a night for the sonics, or be back at the D-league. He isnt learning anything in junk time.

Agree with you there mate.

This has been going on for years now. First Mr. Potatoe Head wouldn't play the kids, he was fired and Hill was brought in. Hill then played them in the second half of the year but was to selfish in his second year and didn't throw them a bone. Now we have PJ who is doing the exact same thing. This team sucks! We all know it, most NBA fans know it and PJ should also know it. What is the harm in playing the guy when chances are we are going to get blown away with our first unit anyway. I'd rather take some positives out of all the losses that are mounting up than the countless negatives every night.

all of this because sene isn't playing very much? christ, get real. pj has been playing the kids, thats all that is left. sene will get some run then he will go back to the D league. he was brought up because of injuries.

And right there is the problem.

Both he and Gelo should have been "evaluated" this season. While Gelo finally got the chance Sene has not. He should be out there playing in this "evaluation" process.

sene is raw dude. he is a couple of years behind gelabale. and the sonics had petro and swift to consider. and thomas and wilcox and collison. sene is a project. i have said this before, sene will likely be a 15 minute or so back up next year. not this year. his time will come. right now weather or not he plays significant minutes this season will not change anything one way or the other.
